The students are excited about our 6th and final Unit of Year 4 - Planet Earth.
They will be learning about the Solar System, the physical structure of the Earth, as well as conducting experiments to understand the effect of gravity on objects, magnetism and much more.
In Language we are exploring texts that explain. They will learn how to write to explain; how earthquakes and volcanoes happen, why magnets work on some objects and not others and other topics.
In Math we are currently working on coordinates and cardinal directions.
Central Idea: Earth is a unique planet within a complex solar system.
