Arabic for Non-Native Speakers

Dear Parents,

The Central Idea for our first Arabic Unit of Inquiry is 'We a
cquire the principles of reading from phonemic knowledge and awareness'. The lines of inquiry are:
  • How we use language to express our feelings and needs
  • The vocabulary needed to describe feelings
  • How we develop and apply language and phonemic awareness
We will be finding out how to use most common phrases. We will be finding out how to express feelings, needs, likes and dislikes, and the numbers 1-100. We will also be talking about verbs, pronouns, adjectives, opposites, parts of our body and the senses.

You can help your children learn about Arabic  verbs and pronouns in the present tense by watching this video.
